[Request] MS7589 MSI P55-GD55 v1, Xeon L3426 support

Would very much appreciate if someone could help me add support for Xeon L3426 SLBN3 into the AMI BIOS for my MSI P55 Express board (P55-GD55), please?

BIOS v1.9. Latest BIOS from Gigabyte

With Xeon installed, board boots then shuts down after 4 or 5 seconds. Also shuts down if I enter BIOS settings. POST screenshot attached

Possible donor BIOS: Gigabyte P55A-UD3R BIOS v F9 (which Gigabyte claims supports the Xeon L3426) or Latest BIOS v F14b

Help. My acer iconia W701 bricked after bios update

After I update my Acer w701 bios, my w701 bricked. Read from this forum , I can bios recovery by crisis but I need the Bin file. I tried to using extract from the bios exe file for window (only source I know) from acer . I got  the IFLASH.BIN place in a usb  thumbdrive and hold the windows +vol up+ power button. Led did flashing for a while but the tablet still not working. Do I did the right thing? Can any expert here advise?

Hi! I own Lenovo B590 laptop.
I want to change GPU on more powerful. Defauly GPU is Nvidia GT720M. I want to set up Nvidia GTX 760M. But I don't sure, that BIOS supports its GPU. Please, tell me, can I do it? And if no (or yes), can you add support its GPU?

Inspiron 1526 A16 SLIC 2.1

I can't find if anyone has done an Inspiron 1526 SLIC 2.1 BIOS. Google, Yahoo, even the search for this forum keep "correcting" searches to 1525. It's only one number off, close enough, right?  Angry 

1526 = AMD. Last BIOS revision is A16
1525 = Intel. Last BIOS revision is A17

Motherboards are interchangeable between the two models. Intel version can support faster CPUs but is stuck with 965 chipset video. AMD version has discrete GPU but also uses shared RAM.

Here's the 1526 BIOS, already SLIC 2.0 due to the only OS Dell sold it with being 32bit Vista, with optional downgrade to 32bit XP, despite it being a 64bit computer.

Thanks much! Smile Will be a big help, especially if I get more Inspiron 1526 laptops to repair. Had to replace the mainboard and CPU because someone tripped over the cord, broke the power jack and fried it.

I need access for tweaking devices menu directly on bios

HP DV6-2015SL BIOS PATCH REQUEST

Hello guys, i'm new here, i'm having problem with this HP DV6-2015SL, the notebook won't start, i've tried recovery procedure with all the bios file i've found on hp support site for this model with WIN+B key combination with no luck.
I've also tried reprogramming eeprom with a programmer and the bios file but the computer refuse to power on until i re-flash the original backup.
Reading in some old post i found that i must "patch" the new bios with some strings from the original backup, iv'e try to understand how but i've failed....would someone please explain me how ca i do this or do it for me?

PS i've attached original dump + latest bios (F13 VERSION) my platform version (found under battery cover) is 3636-200

I have this board and am running Opteron 1389 and have 4 x 8GB modules 1600Mhz High Density.

With 2 x 8GB it has minimal issues, though 4 x 8GB it isn't quite stable.  It will work with 32GB ram but is unstable.

My question is can you add a couple memory multipliers if possible between 1066 and 1333?  

Not to mention more compatibility with 32GB ram?
