Hello, i need help to unlock my bios for advenced setting

Motherboard Manufacturer and model: HP
Bios: F.66
Insyde h20 f.66
link : http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp60501-61000/sp60864.exe
I have 2 graphics cards
Intel hd 3000 (IGPU)
Amd radeon hd 6470m (GPU)
Can not use the 2 graphics card the resolution remains blocker on 600 + 800
I have installed new w7 64b system but the same problem
Graphic drives do not repent

Hi all I'd like to help me with some time ago I happened to make a brick in bios, I recovered and now I not have the model series and UUID valid, what can I do to recover them? please help me is an emergency! I apologize if I have not posted right place!

Flashing a HP Insyde Bios with custom Logo

Hi,

I Tried to mod my Bios (Insyde F.24) which I want to change only the logo (the others modules are okey, I don't need to whitelist some WLAN chip or something like that, but just change the Logo). I tried with EzH2O and doing it manually with Phoenix, but I can't flash it, either with InsydeFlash (from HP or from the web) or using the HP Dyagnostic program from BIOS (POST->ESC->F2).
  • From InsydeFlash (HP) I got "The update is locked in this device". Also in the log I can see "The BIOS image is corrupted or does not contain the correct digital signature."
  • From InsydeFlash (Web) I got LOAD_DRIVER_FAIL (just the code, I got the name in the platform.ini)
  • From HP Dyagnostic I got something similar as the InsydeFlash (HP).
I though that my Bios has RSA (as everybody says that HP is using that from 2012, and my computer is from 2014 I think), but Phoenixtool doesn't say anything of "Decrypted", also if I use hewprsa.exe in the original .fd I got:

So I don't know if the RSA rule is going on in my case. But, if I do a copy of my BIOS using the InsydeFlash (HP's wizard) I can get a .s12 file that, if I'm correct, is the sign file (in fact, if I try to flash using the HP Dyagnostic, if the .s12 is missing I will get the error "Signing file is missing", but if I use that .s12 with my modded firmware, I get "Signin file not valid").

Finally, here is my original Firmware, the .s12 file, two Modded Firmware, and the image that I'm using (Note that the image has the exact pixel size as the original one, and its weight is the half of the original): https://mega.nz/#!69YiTCgA!FfzEXbguroTlz...T5Vs67swic
(The Logo GUID is 7DE8E5CC-C270-4BF4-A4D3-F653A17ED21E_2113, or at least starts with 7DE8E5CC).

HP Elitebook 820 G1 - Still BIOS password after flash

Hi,

The problem is that the BIOS is password protected and i have been reading a lot of threads about this.

I bought the "USB Programmer CH341A Series Burner Chip 24 EEPROM BIOS Writer 25 SPI Flash". (had to wait about a month to get it...)

The BIOS i got from HP.

Since im good at electronics and soldering i desoldered the BIOS chip from the mother board without any problem.

Then i reprogrammed the new BIOS and resoldered the chip.

To my dissapointment the BIOS is still password protected.

How can i solve this, is the password stored somewhere else?

I have attatched the bios files, the "bios_backup.bin" is a backup of the bios.

I tested 2 different bios versions from HP and a 3d one which i found here in the forum somewhere.

Hello guys Big Grin

As I know, Intel i7 2630qm processor supports AES-NI, But the microcode of processor must be version 1A or later

My laptop, hp elitebook 2560p bios include the version 1A, but after installing the latest verion (version F.63 Rev.A) bios, the microcode did NOT be update Sad

Hi, I'm new to this modded BIOS and don't have any knowledge of doing it. 

Recently, I just bought a 1050 ti for an eGPU setup and didn't do my research well. Can anyone help me to unlock the bios so that i can enable the "hot-plug" in the PCIE Express Slot? I don't want to want to feel like i wasted my money. Sad

Hello,

I'd like to request a whitelist removal from the firmware of a Lenovo IdeaPad 500-15ACZ (Type 80K4001MUS; this is the AMD APU part, A10-8700P, not the seemingly more common Intel-based boards)

If it's possible, would you please let me know if both the New rev firmware above from the mfr as well as the current/old rev can be patched? Just as a backup plan in case one or the other fails.
