Hello I did a search and did find an old thread archived that had the mod but none of the links work.
I would like to have slic 2.1 added to acer Aspire x1300 R01.B3 bios.

Hello guys, i would like to know if it is possible to unlock the bios for Acer AOHAPPY2 for overclocking and using the Vt-x . It have's an Intel Atom N570 CPU, integrated Intel HD Graphics x3150 GMA and 2 GB of DDR3 RAM.

Screenshots: I don't have any at the moment, but the Vt-x,overclocking and other features aren't even showing up... just the details, the boot order and the scurity settings.

The BIOS i have is the latest version i could find 10.5 and i downloaded it from here:

Hello guys! I have a HP dx7500 microtower with ipiel-la rev 1.03 mobo. I have upgraded my gpu and ram i wonder can i use a modded xeon on my mobo. Iam not really sure what my chipset is i have read in one place that it is G45 and other G45s.

Hi All,

I had a Samsung NP300E5C-A05uk laptop but the motherboard died (Model:SCALA3-15/17CRV, rev: 1.0) and bought a same model replacement but with rev: 1.2

I transferred the CPU into the new board and it boots fine. The problem is the laptop randomly turns off which I'm guessing down to incompatibilites between the CPU and the instruction set in the motherboard (missing microcode?). What's more I can't find anywhere on Samsung's support website a way to update the bios.

I am trying to upgrade CPU on a "GA-5DXSL-RH" mother board.
The M/B is OEM by Gigabyte for "Acer Altos G330 MK2" Server. That's why the BIOS file is not put on Gigabyte website, but on ACER website.

Now, the E5450 CPU is installed on a modified ASUS P5KPL-AM and is working quite well. I want to try it on "GA-5DXSL-RH".
Honestly, due to the rarity of the M/B, I can't find any info about E5450 CPU support for "GA-5DXSL-RH". I am not sure if E5450 will work on "GA-5DXSL-RH". Please help me with the BIOS. Thanx.

HP 8460P "Product Information not valid" after BIOS update

Hey guys,

after updating my BIOS to the latest official version from HP my 8460P it shows up with the nice screen you can see in the attached file. What can i do? Is there a way to fix this with a mod BIOS or changing the BIOS chip?

Change logo in Phoenix BIOS – problem with aspect ratio

Hi all,

I have a Phoenix BIOS. My laptop is Lenovo ThinkPad 14. According to the documentation the logo should be 640x480. I did make my own logo, however, once I flashed it (I have tried a few times) it looks stretched. Why?

Please find attached the image I would like to have as a logo. I didn't change the resolution to 800x600 as requested since it would probably change aspect ratio. Let me know if you need a specific resolution, I will prepare the file then.

Hi everyone,

I need to access advanced settings (specifically legacy BIOS mode) on the Lenovo Ideapad 100S-11IBY UEFU, if that is at all possible.

Alternatively, would flashing a different BIOS from a device with the exact same motherboard model work?
I haven't come across any that do use the same model yet, unfortunately.

Model: Lenovo Ideapad 100S-11IBY   (model name 80R2)
Motherboard: Aristotle 11.6
CPU: Intel Atom Z3735F

The UEFI menu only has 2 pages, and the only setting that can be changed is Secure Boot. Turning that off has no effect.

Versions 11, 12 and 13 can be accessed by changing the number as well.

Any help or advice would be highly appreciated.

I would like to raise the CPU multiplier to 23, that processor could work on 2.3GHz instead 1.5GHz without AMD Overdrive.

IBM T60 BIOS flash over Raspberry Pi/ Flashrom stuck.

Hi!
T60 stuck in Bios update in windows 7 over Thinkpad utility, after restart i got one long and two shorter beeps. 
Tried all kind of bootable options, but the laptop couldnt boot up.
Bought Raspberry Pi B, connected it to Bios chip, deleted old rom and got error when trying to flash new rom, mismatch in size, 2048kn(flash rom size) vs bios rom size(2055kb).
That 2048kb size is size of factory rom, while this 2055kb rom is something when using bios update option, so its kinda bigger.
I have my old .rom file, prior to bios update which i stored before flashing from windows, but his size is 2055kb too.

Hi,
After updating the bios using the software provided by lenovo (here) the laptop does no longer post or function. I have tried using Phoenix tool to find the recovery name, but no recovery name is displayed.

I was wondering if anyone could find out the recovery name and guide me on recovering the bios. Thanks!

I love this laptop, but its throttling temp for the 860m is fairly low to my taste, i wish i could just up it up a little more from 82c to like 86 or 85 even 84 sounds great, and a lil oc wouldnt hurt either.

Request for Bios mod

I would like to have the bios for my Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E530 (type 325978U)  Serial # MP109DV laptop modded to delete the hardware white list.

My Intel Centrino N-2230 LAN card needs reset many times a day after dropping the connection. I have tried the normal routines to repair it, but nothing is working. Since I'm going to have to replace it, this would be a good time to go with a dual band instead of the current single band NIC.

I'm hoping to get a 6250 WiMax adapter, but am afraid the bios will reject it due to the whitelist.

The Bios is smbios bios H0ET32WW v 1.14
