Help with Cupertino2 bios

Is there a way to mod the bios so i dont have to wait for the 3 beeps before it boot and what about that you have to push f12 (when cold start, dont work with restart) so that i actually will boot at all? Its only when i use the GTX 750ti i have the problem, not with the GT 120 that was in it when i got it, then it works like a normal PC would. Its was born with an AMD HD 6450, but that card has some issues (when its about to show the desktop comes up with a red screen, dont know why). I have installed an i5 2500 in it so want a little more power on the graphics side of things. Maybe i should just get a GTX 660, it has a legacy bios as far as i know. Please help me if you can, would realy love it :-)

[Request] Help with moding an old AMI BIOS. MCP73VT-PM, GeForce7050 / 610i (MCP73V)

Hi.
I thought of upgrade my kids computer for Christmas because he is now having a Celeron D 346 on a ASRock 775Dual-915GV with 2GB DDR2-800.
 
So I got a MCP73VT-PM motherboard from a Packard Bell IMEDIA B2630NC free from a friend.
 
I googled around to look for best parts and ordered a LGA 771 to 775 MOD Adapter Sticker for Intel XEON and a Intel Xeon E5450 3 GHz Quad-Core SLBBM processor, info here:

And I got Corsair DDR2 800MHz 2X2GB (PC6400) CL5 XMS2 from an old not working computer.
 
I installed my Radeon HD6990, but got no picture, but when I used an older GPU I got picture.
Memory at 667MHz not 800MHz, no options what so ever in the bios. Still using Intel® Celeron® 450, no Xeon delivered yet.
 
There is no update bios for this so I am hoping to get some help here, I only get one shot because it is a single soldered BIOS chips and I do not want to brick my card.
 
What I want in the BIOS:
support for 800MHz memory,
support for my Radeon HD6990,
Xeon support (if there is not now),
Overclock options. (now there is none)
 
I can upload my bios If you need it, I don’t find it online.
 
Single chipset: GeForce7050 / 610i (MCP73V)
AMI BIOS
Motherboard name on the sticker MCP73VT-PM, if I remove the sticker the name is MCP73T-AM.
Similar motherboards: GF7050VT-M5, GF7050VT-M.
 
I read someone tried the bios for the GF7050VT-M and bricked the card.
 
So please help me, I am an afraid I will brick the card if I try modding the bios on my own.

Having issues getting a xeon to boot on LGA 1156 P55 motherboard

I'm trying to install a Xeon x3430 on my GA P55 UD3 Revision 1 Gigabyte motherboard. According to its CPU support list the motherboard has support for the Xeon x3450 and x3480 since bios F8. I'm on bios F11 but when I install either one of my Xeon x3430 the board turns on but doesnt boot up. My none Xeon cpu works but these don't. Assuming my xeons aren't damaged I'm thinking my motherboard doesnt have the microcode specifically for the x3430. Is it possible to add the microcode to my motherboard like what modders do for 775 motherboards to get 771 xeons to work.

Ohh, the motherboard uses an Award bios. Thanks for the help.

[Request] Bios mod for radeon 6290 + questions

My current system is acer aspire one 722 - C60 and radeon 6290

As i currently reached the limit with the only program i have found working which is Msi Afterburner (unofficial overclock is enable, it still is a bottleneck) therefore i ask for a bios which has around 450mhz on the gpu as lowest state

(if someone could hack msi afterburner to extend the limits i would be happy or know of another program out there which works on 6290)

Another question is which program can i flash my computer with?

Asus H97-Pro Gamer BIOS Flash Request

Hey Guys,

i have a Problem to Flash a modified BIOS.CAP.

Mainly I want to flash my RAM with Thaiphoon Burner, but Thaiphoon Burner says I can not do this because the hardware protection is on.

So i tried These Steps: How to patch BIOS to enable SPD Write capability on Intel 8 Series and higher Chipset Family PCH


After I have modified the bios.cap, no program lets me flash the file, either EZ Flash or AFUDOS.

I really do not know any more, can one of you help me?

Hi! I own Lenovo B590 laptop. I want my laptop can support advanced settings BIOS. But I don't need to laptop can support ALL settings, I want you enable one function: Intel Turbo Boost Technology. As it is disabled by manufacture, as my motherboard revision can't support its function. I hope, that you can help me.

Hi, so i got myself the EXP GDC adapter to run desktop graphic cards on laptop, but i need to disable integrated graphic card in BIOS and there's no option to do it. I already tried few things, but the BIOS always was in the same condition after flashing as it was. I found this page and now i'm asking you guys if you could help me. I'd really apreciate it.

Hello,

Requests for this particular laptop have been made before but the file links in the existing threads no longer work. I addition, I've only found one positive feedback. I contacted a few people from the existing threads via email/PM and am awaiting their reply.

However, does anyone have a working modded BIOS lying around? I am currently on v1.05 (96CN19WW) but on Lenovo's page the current version is 1.17 (96CN31WW):

I don't care much about the version, as long as it works. Trying to get my new Intel 8260 to work.
