Asus ROG CG8480 (P8Z77 M-Pro/DP) Unlocked Features and Updated Drivers/CPUID

Hi,

yesterday ive made this modded Bios for ASUS ROG CG8480.
Its a P8Z77 M-Pro (OEM) board inside, but not the same as the standalone board. (only 2 little changes )
So please dont flash tis bios to the normal board Smile

.zip   Bootstick.zip (Size: 6.4 MB / Downloads: 0)

Please use the Attachment with a bootable USB Stick (freedos or msdos )
Create it with RUFUS or HP TOOL, copy the data to the stick and let it boot.

After the stick is booted excute BACKUP.BAT to make a backup from the original Bios.
At next only start the flashprp.bat file, lean back for 2-3 min´s. thats all.

Please dont forget.... Bios flashing on ur own risk....

Hello.
Im new here and in search for help for my old mobo. Its Asus M4A88TD-V EVO on latest bios.
I got new machine up and running but i wanna keep this sys up for some time more. Issue is that i upgraded to latest bios from asus page and lost ability to unlock my old cpu. Feature is there but it just wont unlock any processor. So i need to rollback mobos bios to an older one but asus has also blocked that possibility. Is there some way i can install older bios. Ty

I have a Lenovo G40-80 with an intel wireless dual band ac-3160 wificard.
Bought this intel wireless dual band ac-8260 wificard, but is unautorized. Do i need to remove this whitelist or edit it ?
If so what is the next step? where do i start. I like to try and do it myself.
Is here anyone who can help me achieve this?

I bought a Fatal1ty 990FX Killer / 3.1 believes that supported the cpu
FX9590. Installed the card, boot the PC and find that the CPU is not in the list of supported processors.
I did some research online and it seems that with the latest update has raised the AsRock support for 9xxx CPU does not know why. Is there a way to restore the support or do I have to change the motherboard?

ACER e5-721 recovery bios

Hello and Greetings from Finland.

I have acer aspire e5 -721 which doesn't turn on/no picture. It blinks backlight and fan spins 1 or few times then nothing(tried with external screen also). I think that could be corrupted bios error. I tried to download exe from acer's support page and put that to FAT32 usb memory stick, put usb to usb 3.0 port, pressed fn+esc then powered on, blue power led started to blink and usb led also, but nothing. I tried the same extratcting the bios exe(7zip), but it seems that it can't extract all the files. Any help would be appreciated.

Lenovo phoenix force flash without battery

Hello, i have an old Lenovo Y650 laptop with battery charging problem, wanted to flash new bios that could repair this problem but cant, winpflash gives me error 166 that battery is not charged (obviously). I also tried pflash16 under DOS but this program also detects battery is not charged. I tried older versions of winpflash and pflash16 but they crash on this bios. I red winpflash manual but there is nothing about skipping battery test option. Is there a way to cheat flashing program into thinking battery is charged or force it to skip battery test? Maybe some alternative flashing software? Thanks.

My graphics card died, and I have bought a replacement.  Guess what, it's compatible, but not on the whitelist.

Could someone please take a look at removing the whitelist, or adding an Nvidia Quadro K3100M to it?

I will try to provide any other information that may be required.
