I need a modded bios for  HP 15 Notebook PC f010vm. The bios version is Insyde F.12... Also, do i need a specific modded bios for my laptop, or can I just use another laptops modded bios wthat is the same bios version? PLZ RESPOND.! I am willing to donate to the person who helps me!!!!!!!!!! btw.... I need the modded bios for overclocking my cpu and gpu.

Hey guys, just looking for some help on getting a bios to stabilize my system, been using a Xeon E5405 on an asus P5KC for about 2 years, but since upgrading to windows 10 I've been getting ALOT of bsod events. 

I remember trying to add the microcode previously, when I first installed the Xeon, but I remember having mixed success and not feeling overly comfortable with it. 

Any help with this would be great, as I'm sure this isn't my only issue given that I am running older hardware on windows 10, some drivers have been a bit of a nightmare, and I'm just trying to rule out as many things as possible to narrow down the problem.

I've had a few issues with the virtual memory, but I have no idea if a new bios would help with that.

As I say, never had any issues before, on startup I get the "unknown cpu" error, so just trying to eliminate that from my system and help stabilize it.

I am not adverse to spending some money on getting a better Xeon, this one was just dirt cheap at the time, and I know the X5450 gives some pretty nice OC speeds.

So basically my question is the following; Can someone please add the microcodes for the E5405 and the X5450 to the bios for the p5kc (attached the latest stock rom). Or is it worth me just upgrading to the X5450 where a bios already exists (maybe)?

Programming the BIOS chip externally

I've tried to search both google and here, and I'm sure the answers are out there but I don't know the correct search terms. A little help getting me on the right track would be appreciated.

My problem is that I have bought an Asus Q87M-E (for use as an ESXi host). I've been fighting the reseller for 6 months now sending the card back and forth, but the problem remain the same. The motherboard they supplied me had a BIOS version from 2013 (version 0408) which only supports CPU's that's hardly sold anymore. I have none of these, so updating it isn't viable. I've tried to get the reseller to do it without luck, it's safe to say I won't be purchasing anything from them again, the last e-mail I got from support was that from now on they wouldn't reply to my e-mails.

That leaves me with a brand new, non-working motherboard. My only other option than to suck it up is to file a lawsuit, which really isn't worth it (and the reseller knows that). The BIOS chip is in a socket, and from what I can find out it's a DIP8 chip. The only thing I can read of the chip is "Winbond". There is a number ther as well, but I can't read it even with 10x magnification - it has a very weak print.

I figure that what I have to do is to get a programmer and use that to flash the chip with a recent BIOS version. Preferrably USB, but I do have a Win 7 computer with a serial port as well. This is where I get lost. I've tried to figure out what hardware and software I need, but it's just left me in a confused state. I'd like for the programmer to be relatively cheap, as buying an expensive one to avoid wasting the motherboard doesn't make a lot of sense. I don't expect to experience this very often. At the same time, when I buy a programmer it would be nice if it could do a little bit more than program just that one chip.

There's loads of BIOS programmers available e.g. on e-bay, but very little details offered. On the electronics forums I've ended up at, there's too much details and for me unknown terms. Can anybody here give me a bump in the right direction, recommend a programmer or at least tell me what to search for?

Adding CPU support for E5-2683V3 to HP ML350 Gen9 server

Just wanted to see if it would be possible/advisable to add support for the stepping of my E5-2683V3 CPU into an HP ML350 Gen9 server.

HP was of course no help, so I was curious if anyone in here had played with the HP Linux that checks the processors prior to BIOS loading? If so, how difficult is it to add the Intel Microcode to support my stepping?

I inherited 4 matching E5-2683V3 processors and would love to upgrade these servers.

Hello Guys, I'n new to all this i was able to follow some Tut to unlock and remove whitelist from My laptop but my laptop don't do any error it disable the Pcie port directly

Hello everyone. I need the original BIOS for a Lenovo X1 Carbon 2nd generation, 20a7 20a8 model, my laptop is dead in a reboot cycle that never ends, and I need to reflash the BIOS externaly. Lenovo provided an ISO image but I´m unable to extract it, so I can get the file. Any help please¿¿??

my second unlock request for you.
I bought an Acer Aspire 1810TZ couple weeks ago and was trying to unlock the BIOS by myself.
But since I have to work with an hex-editor (and there were too many unreadable data, I also don't really see, what I'm seeking for), I decided to ask you for help.

Hi everyone!!



If someone could remove the WiFi whitelist and if possible, enable the Advanced Menu for this BIOS. I'd be forever thankful. Whitelist removal preferred.

I've made a full backup using an SPI Reader/Programmer. Attached the file.

I'd like to add support for some of the rpga 939 cpus that have hd4000 iGPUS (As this would be the only way to upgrade the graphics on this laptop), is this possible?
Does anyone have the original unmodded 1.30 bios if not so I can at least try and read what cpu support is currently enabled in the BIOS?
It's a PITA to read the BIOS on mine without having a raw BIOS to flash if it goes [censored] up. The only tool I have seems to request a valid BIOS to wrie even when I only click the backup option so I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I'm rather a noob with regards to the concept of BIOS, but I need to overclock my computer. I recognize the risk of overheating a laptop. I have an adequate non-stock cooling system. Please do not come here to tell me not to overclock my laptop. I can't overclock it via any conventional tools, eg, Intel XTU, MSI Afterburner, CPUFSB or anything else. I realize my only option (unless someone has another idea) to overclock my PC is through the BIOS. However modifying the processor is not an option in the BIOS of this particular laptop. I realize you probably need me to extract the BIOS and post a link for the download, but I don't know how to do this.

So in summary

1) How do I get the required files extracted?

and once I have a link for the required BIOS files

2) Can somebody mod it so that modifying the processor speed is possible through the BIOS?

(I posted this earlier in the wrong forum, so don't report me for spamming)

Hi, I wanted to know if any one was willing to help me with this issue, I have a Precision 490 GU083 with dual sockets, but is only able to handle up to the 5300 family of xeons, I wanted to know if there was anyway that you could add support for the 5400 family, because I want to buy a pair of e5472's.

i recently changed my wifi adapter (mini pcie)
old one : intel n-130 + bt 3.0 HS
new one : Azurewave BCM94352HMB : wifi dual with AC speed 867mbps + BT 4.0

wifi works , bluetooth not working on any OS (Windows 7 , Windows 8.1 , OSX 10.11.6, 10.12)
driver install says bluetooth not detected , device manager shows 2 generic USB ports without bluetooth
i tried tape pin 51 and/or pin 20 but no luck activating bluetooth
please help me
