Hello All;
New to this and was hoping someone could help me out with a Dell Insprion 1501 . I am looking for any mods to help preformace
I have upgrade to the latest bios and installed win 7 64bit on an ssd and there is no option in bios for AHCI .
I have attached the latest bios file .
any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Guys, I'n new to all this i was able to follow some Tut to remove whitelisting from My laptop but i didn't find the error in the EFI. 
I have :
Motherboard Name Hewlett-Packard HP EliteBook Folio 9480m
BIOS Properties 
BIOS Type Compaq EFI
BIOS Version M85 Ver. 01.36
BIOS Manufacturer 
Company Name Hewlett-Packard Company
Does my bios have whitelist in it?
wifi card id
18.33.3.2CI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_C0608086

i don't have the new wifi card so is it possible to disable the whitelisting or unlock it to all??

Hello i am looking to unlock my bios of my acer aspire x1300 the tabs or other things I guess I wish to be unlocked is:

I want to be able to base clock overclock tab which is under advanced chipset features just a fyi,and if theirs any other tabs to be unlocked I would like that also thanks!
One note though is that there are two bios revisions so I am not sure i picked the newest one listed there.Also i have not updated the bios
on the computer so should i update it then do a bios mod? One more thing the computer is on windows vista 32 bit if that effects anything planing on upgrading to 64 though
if any other information needs to be provided pm me.

I need a bios mod for Xeon E5440 on a  ECS G41T-M7 motherboard i have tried tu put this cpu in the first time and windows wont start after i updated the bios it started windows but it's not working smooth it's slow and unresponsive certanly not working like a quade core beast i have uploaded  the latest rom since it started windows with it.Please help this is a frends PC so i need to make it work as fast as posible.

Hello,

I deactivated my onBoard Graphics Card and the next time I booted, I saw nothing,
foolish as I was, I tried to flash a new BIOS, to get the card working again...

That didn't work, so I sent my mainboard to a technician who replaced the BIOS Chips (2 Chip System).

When I want to boot now, the screen stays black, the hard drive works, but only 1 second and it seems that it doesn't read it.

The only LED on the front of my laptop that glows after it blinks shortly 1 second for the hard disk is the one for the power cord.

I tried a USB-Stick too (with LED inside) and it blinks for 1 second and then the same as above.


I'm not sure, what is wrong...the technician said, he flashed a BIOS onto the chip...
Maybe he made a mistake, because in my opinion, there's no BIOS on the chip...

Am I wrong?
I don't want to destroy anything by flashing...

Please help me, I want to work with my laptop again
