[Request] phoenix bios levono b570 and intel 7260ac

Hi all,
Thank you so much for hearing my request. I'm looking to update the phoenix bios on a Lenovo b570 to except the intel 7260ac wifi card. Can someone please help me?

Fighting with unlocking insyde uefi on acer VN7-592G - any help apprecited

Hi All,
Have new VN7-592G with hidden Adevenced Options and Power Options pages.
Followed vodek instruction for older Acer: https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...7#pid90017
Trying to modify bios 1.11, found:

Code:
0xB45EA Suppress If: {0A 82}
0xB45EC True {46 02}
0xB45EE Setting: i-Page:, Variable: 0x258 {05 91 42 14 43 14 0B 00 34 12 58 02 00 10 00 01 00}
0xB45FF Option: Disabled, Value: 0x0 (default) {09 07 B0 12 10 00 00}
0xB4606 Option: Enabled, Value: 0x1 {09 07 B1 12 00 00 01}
0xB460D End of Options {29 02}
0xB460F End If {29 02}


Used EFI shell to boot laptop but couldn't modify 0x258, by setup_var, got msg that it can't change variable.
Tried also setup_var2 which list 2 values for 0x258 instead of one, one named "Setup" second named "Custom", and it modify only"Custom" value, which don't do anything. Couldn't change this custom back to 0x0 so flashed back whole bios by Acer tool.

Now wondering:
1. Why some ppl have yellowe letters in efi shell, I had white, wrong efi shell?
2. What software would allow me to manually change variable in .fd file, so I will alter use Acer tool to flash bios instead changing in it one value?
3. Any other options?

Hi i have a modded version of 2.30 that contains the Non-Z OC Funktion!
Asrock has officialy removed it! Sad
Now there is a new Version out, 2.50!
And my Question is, is there a way to implement these Funktion into the new 2.50 Bios?!

I would be very grateful if someone can help me because i am a noob! Smile

Hey there

My laptop : Lenovo ThinkPad E535 Model : 3260FEG
CPU : AMD A-Series A4-4300M processor
GPU : AMD 7420G (integrated) + AMD7600M (dedicated)

fan speed contorted by Bios and there is no speed control by third-party app or Bios
for example CPU running at 2.5 Ghz after a while because of the high temperature freq. will be reduced to 900MHz
so there is lots of lags in games after 10 minute gaming ! ( fan does not work at 100% speed !! it remain in 50% at the maximum!) 
It s really annoying Please help me out

I am wondering if U guys could unlock the hidden menu or at least fan speed control (set it to maximum) 

I made a back up with Universal Bios Backup tool v2  (It .ROM file) and upload it down below

asus UX302LG bios mods

Hello,

I unfortunately updated my ASUS UX302LG to BIOS version 210.
(http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/UX30...1469610916).

It disables the SATA device sleep in port 0/1/2 and i'm not able to suspend the laptop eversince. I used AMIBCP 4.53 to open the bios and found the device sleep options so i was able to re-activate them and save the new BIOS.

But i'm unable to upload the modify bios as it tells me the new bios is too old. The version, date of the modified BIOS is the same as the original asus BIOS. 

Is it possible to change those values so i can change the version to 211 for instance?

Hello, i recently bought GTX 960 4GB, but it won't boot up. Basically my MOBO need BIOS update, but HP is not going to update old MOBO BIOS.

( Found a post about this whole thing - http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Boo...-p/4856809 ).

And i wouldn't want to buy new MOBO, moving whole system to new MOBO its not that easy and of course you need to pay for new MOBO ( which is also downside ). So i was wondering, maybe you guys could make modded and updated BIOS for this MOBO.

How to Dump Bios..

Hi guys..

I recently got an HP 17 inch laptop. 2016 model

The bios is pretty much completely locked down.

I've tried installing an m.2 sata ssd, and the bios will boot, but will not detect the ssd..

There is no Bios available for download right now, not even drivers, I know it's an Insyde bios..


What tool do you guys use to dump the bios.
