HP Sleekbook 14-b109sa BIOS FAILURE

Hi,

I was updating my BIOS laptop with the official HP update but after the reboot my laptop is only showing a black screen and the light on caps lock on. I read that it can be happend due to a failure during the update and I could restore the BIOS with an USB sitck.

I used the HP UEFI Support Environment to format the USB key and all directories were created. I alsa downloaded the BIOS update from the HP website but when I extract it I only have the .BIN files but not the .SIG files required to reboot with the USB key.

The laptop its only 2 days all and I have a nice brick on my table.

Request: Supermicro C2SBX+ motherboard possible hidden menus for memory settings?

Hi for everyone of us who know how to mod Phoenix BIOS. Heart

We have a serious problem with our Supermicro C2SBX+ Intel X48 chipset motherboard and it's XPM profile function narrow success of adjusting different memory settings correctly.

Could someone of us check and add them, if the latest attached beta BIOS of the board has any hidden menus for that kind of timing settings for memory / possible CPU clocking?

Obviously we would like to unlock every one of the hidden menus, if there are such.

The X2SBX.zip file has the C2SBXp1.113 file, that is the latest beta BIOS .ROM file.

I have an old HP notebook with a no modify Phoenix BIOS, then, I can't change things like the dedicated video memory (I have 128MB) and I can't play "big" games like Tomb Raider 2013 and others because have not Advanced Settings (chipset) and I can't increase my dedicated video memory ... My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate (original Vista) ...

Well, can someone help me and mod a Phoenix BIOS F.5A for my notebook? ...

Dear members, greetings from Brazil,
I come here to get any help with my problem, I have a notebook remarked as Intelbras i211, the original manufacturer is Compal, but can´t find the exactly model.
I just did an upgrade of processor from celeron to core 2 duo T5550 and it works very fine and fast, but, the thermal sensor it´s crazy and shut dowm my system when processor is working at 100% more than 1 - 2 minutes making cpu stress with the Everest software. The report says 115º C but I think it´s wrong, just put my finger at top heatsink processor and its very ..very cold, so, maybe any hide settings at Bios do my system shutdown.
Well, I need any help to fix this problem, any suggestion ?

I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me if this BIOS can be cracked and if possible Crack it for me. I have no idea how to even obtain a copy of my bios, since I cant find it on Toshiba's site. Main reason I'm wanting to have a modded bios is to allow more vRam to be allocated. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks in advanceSmile

Hello,

Recently I updated the BIOS of an Acer Aspire M3710. I don't like the fan speed at all (smart fan is enabled but spins quite fast).
Before flashing to R01-A2C1 (bios was never updated before) the CPU fan was dead silent.

The mainboard is a FMCP7AM - used in serveral Acer, Gateway and Packard Bell products but I did't had the guts to flash it to PB or Gateway.

Therefore I wonder if anyone could create a modified bios. I searched for existing mods but unfortunately the links were dead. Do want:

- Fan rpm fix
- AHCI / RAID fix if possible, but not necessary as Windows 7 works fine.
- additional feature unlock
