Toshiba satellite pro c850 cpu bios protection power cut off after 30 min

I bought a toshiba i5 3230m processor satelllite pro C850 and cut off exactly 30 minutes!

From what I read on the forums would have protection in BIOS !

Can someone help me with the BIOS update to cancel this protection !
 
 I already have it installed bios 6.80 last version!

Hi,
I have a beginner request.
My laptop, an HP Pavilion dv5-1005el, doesn't start with the fast startup option enabled (Windows 10).
I know that somebody solved this issue by upgrading the bios, but in my case the laptop is pretty old and on the HP website, there are no upgrade available after my version.
Another solution may be to change some settings in the bios options but I have a limited panel control and no many options are available.
So, for sure somebody there can tell me if unlocking bios is a viable option... I would like to use this Windows 10 feature.

HP PROBook 450 G3 BIOS 1.06A has MRC problems (deadly MRC lockup)!

I decided to buy HP PROBook 450 G3, since I have concluded that for the performance/price prospective this notebook is almost ideal. With 6500U i7 (2+2, 2 core with HYP), with AMD Ratheon + INTEL HD 520 dual GFX for gaming, and with FHD internal FP it gives the optimal performance.

FW: BIOS: 1.03
SW: Operating System (dual boot WIN bootloader): Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) and Windows 8.1 (64-bit).
 
As I unpacked it, I stated playing with the BIOS 1.03 (initial one). First what I have noticed there is that HD-A (audio) was NOT enabled by default, which sparked the question: Why?
 
Then I set the whole BIOS to be UEFI ONLY (NO legacy, and use of CSM). I brought my UEFI live WIN 10 64 PRO, and noticed that FP has ONLY 1366x768 maximal resolution, which is most likely BIOS GOP problem (I'll talk about that in possible another post).
 
Once I brought up WIN 10 64 PRO (installed it on HDD), I decided to upgrade all the SW and FW from HP site. Noticed that ME is at 11.0.0.1097, which is the latest ME available, but also noticed that there is newer BIOS, one named 1.06A (sp74289.exe dowloadable file). Once I downloaded this file, I then followed the BIOS guidance and have upgraded the BIOS to newest one (1.06A).
 
HP 450 G3 rebooted, and needed 2 minutes to start BIOS, since (my best assumption) is that new MRC algorithm could not set correctly parameters for Samsung DDR3L single 8GB SIMM module. But I left it to struggle... It finally passed.
 
I rebooted several times HP 450 G3, and it worked seamlessly, since I was installing additional drivers, to make it fully up to latest. But, while installing AMD Catalyst, it suddenly crashed, with so known BSOD... It rebooted once more to WIN 10 64 PRO, but, onceagain, it encountered BSOD.
 
Since then, my HP450 G3 is stuck nowhere. It does NOT pass MRC, I repeated boot 10x, it is the same. I had idea to switch 8GB SIMM to 4GB SIMM (to make MRC go another route), but since notebook has warranty, I returned it for to swap with new one.

Posting here to get some new ideas from audience what should I do more to determine the already assumed MRC problem, or possible some other ROOT CAUSE?!  Huh

I am looking for an unlocked bios for my Toshiba Satellite L75D-A7288 Laptop AMD A8-5550m
I used to have a llano apu and it was really easy to overclock and undervolt but with this one
is a different story i would like to have an unlocked bios so i can oc the apu there
I have the latest version of the Insyde bios installed (1.30)

so i have M4A78LT-M LE oem motherboard so it has the 0404 bios... i need retail motherboard bios whit the oem bios id´s and that stuff..

i have modding intel machine bioses including these things >>> (ME) (VGA BIOS) and some other stuff.. but this is something that i cannot figure out by my self Dodgy   and yes my english is bad im from finlandBig GrinD

On the official Acer Support-Site i dont found any BIOS Firmware Downloads so maybe only a BIOS Backup (with NEW_BACKUP_FPTs.exe)i hope is enough information  to make a Modded Update possible?

Request for a fully unlocked Insyde BIOS (or at least access to Advanced / Power tabs) for my laptop:

- Model# CQ62-225NR
- Screenshot of BIOS below
- Link to BIOS here (sp52598.exe)

Would love any help from anyone.  I have learned a substantial amount searching for a solution to my problem, but still have no solution.  What I could gather is I might have multiple tabs 'hidden' but can only have access to two more unless I replace existing?  I just want tabs that affect any type of performance so I can have total control of my machine (like it should have been out of box in my opinion...)

I have followed a few tutorials and would like to thank people such as SnakeyJake, Crahzee and Donovan6000 for the information I happened to stumble upon, although all posts seem to be dating quite a few years back (the laptop I am asking assistance with is over 5 years old so I guess it makes sense..).   

So far I have successfully making a bootable usb for UEFI Shell access (I am clueless in this realm), and even attempted to follow Donovan6000s guide here.  I got as far as locating the conditional jumps, call functions and cross referencing portion until I simply drowned from not knowing the material.  I was following the guide to a T, but wasn't sure what the cross referencing portion was really accomplishing,  I also noticed if I messed up on a portion because on his end in IDA Pro he shows (in his case) 'text:000000018000105A' but in my IDA Pro is read 'source:000...etc...'.  I figured I messed up somewhere before this because I failed to locate any conditional jumps (in the guide we are looking for jz and jmp, all I could locate was js...

Novice question here, the fact that my BIOS version from the HP support site is sp52598.exe, are all BIOS with this filename one in the same?  Or are they uniquely made for each board?  Wasn't sure if they are interchangable since parts might overlap across different models.

I am just explaining my knowledge so far, which is very little in the matter.  I am eager to learn as my trade is in I.T. just more on the hardware side, so it is a refreshing hobby.  Cheers, happy 2016.

Hi,

I would like to have full access to all settings (at least the "advanced" tab) in my bios. Lenovo seriously underpowered this convertible and I want to optimize the hidden power options in the hidden advanced tab.
