Gigabyte X58A-OC request

Hi all,

I'm new here. I recently bought a X58A-OC. I saw the modified bios on tweaktown forums, but it seems like it has been a while since it was updated. Can someone please update it to the latest roms? Thank you very much.

I believe the Marvell controller might be the latest but Intel and Realtek ROMs might be out of date. I think the latest Intel Rom is Intel RAID Option ROM 12.7.0.1936 and the latest Realtek is: Realtek PXE ROM 2.55. If anyone can update it to these latest one please I would really appreciate it.

(I found Intel and Realtek versions of ROMs from the EVGA forums. The members update the bios of X58 classifieds still. It worked on my Classy. Would like to have my X58A-OC also up to date.)

Wifi Card: Intel N6235

I'm using F.19 bios modded by Camilo. When I'm install the new wifi card it's work fine except bluetooth cannot be activate. So, can anyone help me remove the whitelist in F.1C bios and make the bluetooth work with it? Or with F.19 is ok, too! Thank a lot!

[REQ] HP tx2500z CTO - Unlock/Whitelist

Have myself an HP tx2500z CTO notebook that I really quite like but I have a few issues. One is not being able to access any advanced features of the hybrid notebook because of the BIOS lockdown, two is the inability to use my new 802.11AC adapter card due to the annoying whitelist, and lastly, three is the fact that when unplugged, no matter what OS/Driver/ectect, the CPU is limited to 50% max frequency (in my case, 1.2Ghz of 2.4Ghz), I have googled this quite a bit an the only solution is to hack the BIOS, sadly, my attempt at doing it myself, or finding one previously done, have FAILED.

SO, a request has been made Big Grin

--- I cant seem to either find, or take screenshots of my own (no camera, only phone, shots horrible)
--- I read and ran that tool from the RSA thread, and the first line is that its an EFI/Insyde BIOS, then that its Finished extracting, according to the thread, that means its not RSA signed (w00t!)


I think thats all I need for a request, if I happen to be missing something please let me know (besides the SS, I will try and get them ASAP) THANKS!



*NOTE: I spent a good 3 days doing searching first, and attempting it myself, but when it comes down to it, I just have no idea what Im doing when it comes to a BIOS and would rather not superbrick my own unit... When it comes to searching first, I did find the BIOS I am requesting listed elsewhere, but the handfuls of links I tried (literally, searched with FIND through over 400 pages, thank you AutoPager!) where either dead, or where for the Whitelist only!

Hello everyone !! i just updated the bios of my old amilo notebook..

it was necessary because the cpu fan was always at high speed and i had to put a regulator inside..on the wire !! Anyway the cpu temp was always under 40..

But now the new bios sets the initial speed to off... the temp always goes to 55 then the fan starts... at a noisy level.. and this happens 2-3 times a minute....

i am asking your help for setting a initial value of the cpu fan at a low rpm value..
so the temp will be ok and the noise too..

it is a pc i had in "heritage" by ew weeks.. i remember it had a fan for chipset too..
it has in fact..i opened and cleaned it !!
And it seems to be disabled too with the new bios...

If it is possible to set both at the minimum rpm..
dont know how it works..if there are fixed rpms..or what !!

I will post the bios image if somebody can help !! tx !!

Hello everyone!

i am really glad i found this Forum! I have been using a, probabbly for the most,
outdated laptop, an Asus A9RP. This machine has been truly robust, sturdy and
reliable for the abuse i give it. Unfortunately i hit it´s limits...

After a verry needed upgrade to 2gig RAM & a dualcore CPU i am satisfied
with the overall performance, BUT i still get lag when watching HD videos...

After a while of research, i found out that the ATI Radeon XPress 200M
GPU Chip does handle 256MB shared RAM on other systems, but i can
not adjust the shared RAM in my BIOS, and it is set to 128MB... Undecided

I would love to be able to set it to 256MB or even 512MB if possible.
Any extra unlocked features would also be gratefully acepted!!!

So... can someone help me with this?

Hello everyone!

Hi to all, i search a way to edit the bios for modify native lcd resolution. I have tried this method but doesn't work
