[Request] MSI MS-7788

Hi all, i have a MSI H61M/P31 (W8) motherboard and i want to unlock since it has a AMI BIOS

In AMIBCP 4.53 i can see a lot of options that a normal user won't see
I need to access to Overclock settings since OCGenie doesn't work

I dont know how to enter bios in extended user mode, either. So that's why i'm request unlocking

I attached a screen pic of (most) options i can't see

HDX16 F.32 Bios help

Hi,

I need some help with advanced options on F.32 BIOS. Hardware info below:

HP HDX16-1025NR
Board: 361b
Current BIOS: F.32

I am trying to install an Intel 520 SSD but I get BSOD right after the Windows splash screen with a fresh install of Windows 7.

This is what happened... PC had Windows 7, a very old install that needed reformatting anyways. I put in the Intel 520 SSD and went to download all the updates from the HP website. All was fine until the BIOS update. The machine will run with the old hard drive with Windows 7, but when the drive is changed for the SSD, I get a BSOD. I do not see the advanced option in the BIOS so I can set it to AHCI.

Can anybody help?

Hi. My Y50 requires the 2.01 bios to use the nvidia gtx 960m graphics card. Please help me unlock 2.01 using the 1.14 dump so I can change the DMVT and also enable the wifi whitelist.

I have downgraded to 1.14.

Dumps of both 1.14 and 2.01 bios from my machine are in the link. I'm not sure which one you need so I uploaded both.

Hello,

I've two systems Dell Optiplex 760 USFF that are running Intel C2D E8400 processor.

On this Ultra Small Form Factor model the Bios does not Support Core 2 Quad processors but the Optiplex 760 bigger models (SFF, Desktop and Mini Tower) this C2Q processors are supported, I was reading some web pages relating to this USFF models and some people are saying that is possible to have this machines running Core 2 Quad processors since the chipset and motherboard Support them but the Bios must be modded to allow this processors to run, I've installed and C2Q Q8400S and another C2Q Q9400S and got a message saying "Processor not supported".

I would like to ask if someone is able to get me a modded Bios for this Optiplex 760 USFF computers?

The chipset on this machine is: Intel Q45/Q43 Express chipset
Installed bios from Dell: A16 (link: http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER01655581M/1/O760-A16.exe)


Processors needed to Support:

Processors have a 65W TDP because of the small size for the case.

I just purchased this little ultrabook, and I'm trying to wipe out Win8.1 and get either Win7 or Win XPSP3 installed, but can't get past the 0x00000A5 (Your BIOS is not ACPI compatible) error during initial install. Enabling the Win7 or "OtherOS" optimized settings in the BIOS and the "legacy USB Boot" fail to solve the problem. Also, the BIOS is severely limited, no power options at all.

Will unlocking the BIOS help me get past that error? Can one of you kind souls help me to mod the BIOS to unlock the advanced features?

Where is the BIOS flash in HP Elitebook 2760p laptop?

I'm going to remove the whitelist of my HP Elitebook 2760p, however, the flash program needs a signed ROM file so it's impossible to modify the ROM to flash. So I want to modify the firmware with an external programmer. I've disassembled my laptop, but I can't find where the flash chip is. I used flashrom program and detected it may be a 8MB Macronix chip, but I didn't find such a flash chip on the board.
