[REQUEST] HP ProBook 5330m

I have a proBook 5330m and the bios is locked so i can't change boot order or enable the card reader.
HD and network boot available only. Have booted to a black screen trying to load HPTOOLS but have got no further.

Serial No 5CD2800YM7
Bios version is 68SFF Ver F.22

I also have the UUID but I'm not sure what other information is needed.

Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to brick it tinkering myself. Thanks

I want to install hackintosh on this laptop. But for that i need to disable one of my graphics cards. But he bios is locked. I've read somewhere that there are hidden options in the bios. Any help is welcomeSmile

Good day all,

First time poster here.
Sorry if this is the wrong subforum, as i am not quite sure about the manufacturer of the bios (afaik, its not mentioned anywhere, or i haven't seen it).
I would like to request modifications for my bios, if possible. Preferably hidden menu unlocking, so i could tweak power and cpu settings.

HP pavillion dv7, SP51315, vbios FIX 9600m (tested).

hi , for anyone using the SP51315 bios for his, dv7. and has a hard time with the 9600M GT gpu

i downloaded the modded unlocked bios made by Camiloml.
and changed the vbios of the 9600m, i am now able to download latest updates of drivers from NVIDIA , no longer stuck with the old drivers, i was able to install windows 8.1 with latest drivers no problem.

what i did,
1- changed the vbios in the SP51315 (already unlocked by Camiloml), with one vbios from techpowerup website
2- removed 4th voltage step from voltage table, kept the v0.9 instead of v0.89 (no issues appeared at all)
3- added timings from the original vbios
4- followed NightWalker method for clockrates, (no overclock just copy paste highest clockrates to 2nd 3rd step, left 1st step unchanged)
5- MXM countdown is set to 1 second ( i don't know how to remove it. )

benchmark before new vbios was ~180, current is ~410 (using gpu tester benchmark).

i tested it on dv7-1285dx.

only flash this if gpu is problematic when using latest drivers, or you tried windows 8 and couldn't install gpu. if not then use the Camiloml bios.

i am not responsible for any damage you done to your laptop

to install, remove all .FD files from sp51315 folder, extract my file inside the folder, run winflash.bat

Request: ASRock E350M1/USB3 BIOS unlock

Hi there, is there a way to unlock the BIOS of my ASRock E350M1/USB3 to OC the CPU (AMD E350 APU @ 1,6GHz) which definitely is the bottleneck of my system?
I bought a ASRock E350M1/USB3 mobo basicly to save energy/be environmentaly friendly with my low profile PC usage: mainly email, internet, no gaming etc. However keeping browser up to date (FF) results in a lagging, slow PC, AV ist also consuming many resources. Buying a new mobo is not really an option, since everything else is perfectly OK and the system itself is not too old.
I'd be glad if someone could help me with that. I attached the latest BIOS (packed together with the update-tool by ASRock) that I already flashed on my PC (everything else is up to date, too). Many thanks in advance!

Hello,

I have this laptop and i'd like for the AHCI options to be visible from the BIOS menu.

The chipset seems to support it and there are some options about AHCI HDD in the boot order menu but nothing happens.

I guess AHCI is simply disabled for some reason and cannot be enabled without some hacks.

I wanted to upgrade the HDD to an SSD but seems useless without AHCI support on it.

AHCI options is what i really need but if more options became available it should be good but probably won't touch them for being a bit afraid Tongue

I have little to no experience with these modified BIOS and i haven't flashed any hacked BIOS before and i have no idea how to flash after Big Grin

So if possible explain me please how to flash it, because from what i've read about "phlash16.exe" it needs some WPH file and not a ROM file as supplied by the original zip Smile

I need help for my laptop hp pavilion zv5000. It has fabric wi-fi card install, broadcom bcm4301mpl. That card can't see WPA/WPA2 locked signal. I try to install Intel2200bg card but there is whitelist, i try to change card ID in BIOS with knoopix 3.8.2 but that doesn't solve a problem so can anyone help me? I saw posts here people said that they have been install BIOS F.45 version modified by user camilioml on Pavilion zv5000 with intel procesor, mine is same with intel procesor so if anyone has that BIOS F.45 camilioml edited file or other idea i would appriciate for help.

HI I Have a DC7700 SFF that I updated to v1.16 in description said..

I'd like to remove everything whatever I don't use except e6300 SL9TA (06F2h) as it's my backup CPU.
Then ADD the Following L5320's although what I have is a 6F7 (SLAC9)

Anyway I had someone add microcode for Xeon L5320 to v1.16 and it bricked it... beeping and red lights blinking...  Performed this...

I want to DOWN-GRADE to v1.15 to avoid the unsigned restriction and mod the microcode for xeon L5320...

Adding BIOS.WPH didn't work it needed a .BIN so I added 7E1_0115.bin and the flash began... 0% to 100% ... turn off computer.. turn on... same beeps to recovery 0% to 100% ... restart .. same thing.... I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

There's a Boot Block jumper on the Board... among cmos battery etc etc

I am willing to pay $25 to the person who can get the latest version of the bios or any other version that works with my system. To have the whitelist removed. I spent over $100 on external graphics card equipment. Now I am needing this done and I should be good to go. Acer Aspire 5720 icl50

Hello

I have an Acer Aspire 5720 icl 50. (running modded black version 1.45 bios, but tried all official biosses too.)
I think i need to flash an new option rom because it will only boot from the optical drive. Hdd, usb etc. is recognised in the bios, but it does'nt boot.
After the boot process the work fine. Installing windows goes without u problem.

It uses the ich8m controller. i have put the mainboard in an 7720 and it also sees two hard drive but the problem stays the same.(so it's back an 5720 now)

Im note sure i'm in the right forum, so feel free to move the threat if needed.
