Acer Aspire V5-471 BIOS Unlock (and also if possible, flashable UEFI BIOS)

Hi there. May I request for an Unlocked BIOS for Acer Aspire V5-471? I'm running on the latest V1.22 Phoenix BIOS. Here's the link for the BIOS File.

also, there's a V2 BIOS for the same laptop. V2 BIOS has UEFI enabled but there's a problem, I cannot flash a V2 BIOS on a V1 laptop! It just throws me an error when I do so. Please update to the same type of BIOS(V1.xx)!. Any idea how to flash a V2 BIOS on my laptop with V1 BIOS? Here's the link for the V2 BIOS.

I still don't get it why Acer really need to do this. V1 BIOS for laptops that run Windows 7 or doesn't include an OS and V2 BIOS for the same laptop shipped with Windows 8! It's easy to flash V2 bios on Insyde BIOS but not Phoenix Sad

Hello.
I have notebook acer 7740g and I want replace memory in it. But in place where I live i can't buy memory that match to it by RAM timings. I bought CORSAIR Vengeance CMSX8GX3M2A1600C9 but it has timings larger than needed, so my notebook can't function normally and I can't change timings from BIOS because it does not support such operations.
Is it possible to modify RAM timings in the BIOS?

In this notebook used Phoenix bios and this is unlocked bios for it from here bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Acer-Aspire-7740G

Here is timings of original memory: 8-7-7-20 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 27-59-4-8-4-4-20 (RC-RFC-RRD-WR-WTR-RTP-FAW)
And here is timings of new memory: 9-9-9-24 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / {I don't know, I will find this information if needed}

Hello i'm new in this forum and i'm searching in a modder wich can unclock my MB Big Grin. It's a Asus P5LP-LE (HP brand). I would install an intel q6600 CPU (currently it isn't supported), do a light overclock and install 8gb of ram (4x2gb 800mhz) currently limited to 4gb.

Can you do a flashable rom (if it is possible) Huh ?

Hi all,

Laptop Fujitsu XI1554 is set by the manufacturer in bios limit memory 2GB RAM. This laptop has Phoenix bios. Chipset this laptop Intel 945PM in hardware support 4GB RAM. Also Fujitsu XI1554 bios support NVIDIA and ATI graphics card. Currently I have in this laptop NVIDIA graphics card.

I found on the internet that laptop Fujitsu XI1554 is exactly the same Alienware m5750 and Alienware m5790. Alienware m5750 and m5790 in bios support 4GB RAM. Unfortunately Alienware m5750 and m5790 in bios support only ATI graphics card.

I have a request - could someone unlock in Fujitsu bios 4GB RAM support???

In Annex bios Fujitsu XI1554 and bios Alienware m5750/m5790.

Hey everyone!

I have an Asus Maximus IV Extreme -Z that I use for both work and gaming. Currently, I have a Perc H200 (LSI SAS2008) that prevents me from accessing my BIOS when installed. On older motherboards (or more advanced) there was a setting labeled INT 13h, which in shorthand, would correct issues like this when dealing with SAS or SCSI controllers.

Unfortunately, the latest BIOS doesn't have any advanced options - as this is a motherboard aimed toward gaming, and not so much a workstation. 

Now I'll say this, why not just replace the SAS controller with a different model? Well, my entire PC is water cooled, and uses hard acrylic lines, which makes it a giant PITA to remove/replace components.  I had a Perc 5 before this, which was replaced to a Perc 6 ( which had this exact same issue) before moving to a H200.

I'm running on 3603 currently, which seems to be the only one that supports my RAM.

I'm willing to compensate anyone who's able to unlock an advanced menu (if one exists), even if enabling INT 13h doesn't correct the problem.

Hello Forum!
I've changed the CPU of my Acer Aspire 5612 from Core Duo T2xxx to Core2Duo T7600, which has Virtualization and 64 bit.
I don't know which menu it's possible to unlock, the only thing i've found in the Forum is about AHCI and it seems that it's not present.
What I need (if possible), is Virtualization and other features that You can discover/unhide

Hello I registered to see if somebody can help me. I don't speak english.
I have a notebook Acer AS7750G-9657. Formated it and installed a new fresh W8.1 Pro version with out problems.
The only one I have and it seems to be a general problem is with the Renesas USB 3.0 port. The notebook has one usb 3.0 port.
The bios of the notebook does not allow any special or advanced setting. I want to see if with an unlock bios I can get some advanced settings specially usb settings.

I have read that the bios of the Acer 5755G can be used but if you could unlock the last bios version for 7750G, 1.21 version it would be much better for me.

Hi!


I tried to open the original .wph file and the backup file with the Phoenix Bios Editor but it says "Invalid ROM Length".

Could you please help me how to unlock the BIOS of a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pro V3505?
I would like to enable the hidden options. (e.g. virtualization support and lot more).

MS-7502 Ver 1.2 BIOS help/questions!?

Hello Smile

I'm new, so do not hope I'm just wasting your time because my problem may have been answered before?

Can see that there has been helps/questions about BIOS for MS-7502 before, but do not really know if I can use these files there are linked to, which is my problem.

Know that the motherboard should come from an MD8828, and when I would update the BIOS, I found this https://www.dropbox.com/s/rrsb8138o5tmior/W7502MLN.10R?dl=0 which MSI referred. but after the flash was there only black screen Confused

I soldered therefore the chip out and flashed it back to the old, which is this https://www.dropbox.com/s/8sim59u1uokckq4/MS7202.bin?dl=0

My question/problem is, what went wrong or which BIOS actually belong to this motherboard? Do not know if there is something wrong with the motherboard? Only that the built-in network card does not work, is registered and installed but has no MAC address, only 00-00-00-00-00-00 is this not assigned from the BIOS? Running with a E7600.

Hope that someone can help me, thanks in advance..
