Request - Medion Akoya P8612

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for unlocking the Bios used on my Medion Akoya P8612. Traditionally the manufacturer shadows most options. It is a Phoenix Bios and the current version is 1.03 which can be downloaded here:
FLASHABL.ROM

I made a backup of Version 1.01 before patching it, it can be downloaded here:
FLASHABL.bak


I made a backup after flashing to version 1.03, it can be downloaded here:
FLASHABL.rom

Further more my notebook is working in a hybrid boost configuration using a nvidia 9100m g and a gt230m graphics card. Is it possible to deactivate the 9100m g and use the gt230m as primary graphics adapter permanently? This issue cannot be solved in Operating System, because in case of using actual driver, the gt230 wont be recognized by the system due to not supporting hybrid boost technology in modern driver versions by nvidia.

Hello all!

(I'm totally new here).

I just installed my new Intel 7260 Dual Band Ac 7260NGW ordered from AliExpress.

I did try to order the right one, os there wasn't any problems with the BIOS Whitelist, but it looks like it only works for Yoga 2 Pro. That's bad..

Now i'm not able to use it, cause of the whitelist. I got the same "Unauthorized wireless network card is plugged in" message.

Is it possible for you guys to fix a mod, there the card is accepted?

Please tell, if you need more informations, or maybe the new version of the bios - with the backup. I'm not able to find v. 1.08 online anymore. The newest version is: 96CN29WW (V1.15)


I'm thinking of updating the BIOS version before a mod - what to you guys suggest me? And - are you able to help me with the mod? (I can see that i'm not the only one with the Lenovo Yoga and unauthrozed wifi cards prolems).

Hey Guys
i am trying to unlock the bios on my li1818
because i want to allocate more memory to the gpu

have done
installed Windows 7
changed cpu from 1,6 to 2,33Ghz
changed ram from 2,5 to 4GB
next project is changing the harddrive to a 1TB SSHD(from a 320gb hdd)
running bios 1.14c(latest)

good afternoon i have 2 fujitsu t5010 a1m models and i am really annoyed about the bios settings if you could/would please give my computer some more life with an unlocked bios and if possible the added ability to be able to load windows xp (it crashes caused by slic, ive had it happen b4 on another vista machine..) but please just see what all you can unlock for my pleasure if you need any info on the system feel free to contact me im running latest bios from the website (a1m model)..

I've tried learning how to do the BIOS modding but I am truly lost. Would anyone be willing to help?

I'm trying to get my BioStar TA790GX A3+ motherboard to RAID1 two 3TB drives.

Original bios rom is attached.

A newer AMD option rom and misc.bin are also attached, not sure if that's what I need.

Hello. I bricked laptop Sony Vaio VPCSE2V9R. I flashed this bios: https://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS/index.php?dir=Insyde%2F&download=Vaio_R2085H4__Advanced_ByCamiloml.exe, entered bios setup, loaded setup default, saved and rebooted. After a reboot the laptop doesn't react even to the power button. I have a file INSYDE-R2087H4.rom created in Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0. I renamed INSYDE-R2087H4.rom into INSYDE-R2087H4.bin, put it onto a FAT32 USB, did every step of the Insyde BIOS recovery procedure. Lenovo E530c BIOS Update/Mod

Hi Guys

I apologize if i posted this thread in the wrong section but I am new and this is my first post. I have a Lenovo E530c laptop and I want to increase my dedicated video memory for gaming. My specs are the following:

Intel Core i5 3rd generation 33210m 2.6 GHz Quad Core CPU
8 GB DDR3 RAM
500 GB SATA 3 HDD.
Intel HD 4000 intergrated graphics chip with 1792 MB total video memory and 32 MB dedicated video memory.

I therefore want to upgrade my dedicated video memory but my BIOS doesn't have that option. Can i upgrade/tweak/mod my current BIOS so that it will give me that option? My current BIOS version is LENOVO HOET95WW (2.55), 2014-01-20

Your help would be highly appreciated guys.
