Lenovo G510 REQUEST Whitelist remove

I'm new @ this forum and my English isn't as well as yours. Sorry.

I've bought a Lenovo G510 Laptop and will update the WLAN Card to an "Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 (Model: 7260HMW)"

The Bios data are:

InsydeH20
BIOS Version: 79CN48WW(v3.07)

I need the Bios Update 3.07 from the Lenovo Side with a removed Whitelist.

I am now running BIOS version 2.17.
Would like to downgrade to 2.09 for its SATA3 capabilities and also UNLOCK advanced menu.

Requesting a BIOS.fd file of the 2.09 version to do a downgrade by recovery using a usb drive.

Hi everyone, i recently installed geforce 660m 2gb and 1TB sshd but both arent recognised in BIOS also its got a lag in games. How do i update this and is there a good mod for this??

Oh yes, my first topic and the first topic in this sub forum

I got a bit more rencent CPU - Westmere-EP Xeon X5650 with somewhat decent mainboard (Intel S5520HC - Intel 5520 chipset socket 1336 mainboard ) and since I was not overclocking such CPU on this board cuz its not possible , I would like to get some tips from guys that are sucesfull and know, how to overclock this system


My goal is to overclock and to raise the BCLK from 133 to at least 150 and it should be possible cuz its the same chipset and clockgen like on the evga sr2 motherboard

I tried to use SetFSB but it didnt work cuz the clockgen is not listed

The clockgen was made by Realtek and its a Realtek RTM 868 Clockgenerator

The problem is , i am not able to find any documentation or datasheet and i called the intel and realtek support but they are not allowed to give out any information to regular citizen


There are some server motherboards with ability of overclocking for Socket B and 5520 and 5500 Chipset so i guess it should be possible as well

I tried to write some values into the clockgen but it didnt accept my values

i was able to access the clockgen by accessing the SMBus at SMBus device adress 0xD2 and 0xD3 @ offset 10bytes


this are the default values of the clockgen

3F1E F77F 05FC 201E 0159 16 bit word

the next one below has worked but led into a crash of the system

AAAAAAAA AAAAAAAA 0A0AAAAA AAAAAAAA @offset 24 byte 32bit dword

The next one has worked as well but led into a crash

--> F97D3E1F 421F08FF 00000465 32bit dword @offset 10byte


i dont know where i can find the BCLK .. maybe some1 can help me

i think the easier way would be to to create a custom bios .. i would pay a lot of money for it

i just want to raise the baseclock and /or qpi clock and uncore clock

i got an Intel S5520 Hanlan Creek motherboard and 2 x Xeon X5650 CPUs

The SMBus device is an ICH9 oder ICH10 SMBus

I have an Acer Aspire E3-111-c7q5s. I need VT-x, AHCI and Advanced menu.

Missing options in BIOS to change SATA mode

Hi everybody !

I just recieved a WD Black² hybrid drive and trying to change RAID mode to AHCI.
In fact it's necessary to be in AHCI to activate the HDD part of the hard drive.

The problem is that having a dv6-7180sf its impossible to configure SATA mode in the BIOS. In the settings menu i can only have this IMAGE .
My BIOS is an INSYDE f.24 can anyone help me access SATA setting with that ??

Hi,
I have a Acer Aspire V3-571G 73618G1TMakk
(the version with Windows 7, Intel Core i7 3610QM , Nvidia geforce gt640M and 8gb ddr3 ram , 1tb hdd )

I want to access advanced settings in my bios,but i dont know what to do and how,so i´m asking for help from you guys.. :/
the Bios version I now have is InsydeH20 v1.06 or 1.13 (i can update it if needed..)

Hi,

I'm new to this forum, so, let me introduce mysef: I'm french (and i apologize for my English, witch is... not good at all) I'm using computers and other connected stuff since i'm 10, and normally, simply by searching in forums, i always find a solution to my problems without any post, but this time, i'm stuck.

I've got an Acer Aspire 5733, cheap laptop that i had to send back to service one week after purchase -we've got what we pay for !- It's 1,5 years old now and still running fine, bios is updated to the latest version. (1.10)

I was having trouble with the wifi card , another crappy Atheros device, and ordered an Intel 7260 HMWWB (with bluetooth) card to replace it. And here's the problem: I first tried to boot normally, and the bios seems to freeze. I tried several times without any success, so i began to search for the whitelist removal, and failed in my quest.

Then, i've got the idea to bypass the bios boot process and decided to change the wifi card after the boot , simply by putting the computer in sleep mode. So i made the card swap. And It works! After his wake up, the OS recognizes the new card and everything goes well. (Windows tested only, Elementary OS was down due to an HDD issue)
So basically, This laptop seems to support this card and is not limited by some sort of wifi whitelist (maybe ?)

But the BIOS takes a very long time to boot, freezes and in the whorst cases, stuck the laptop in a reboot loop; if i start the computer normally with this card mounted.

Because it's not easy to start up> go to sleep mode> swap the card> wake up, to use this card, i'm wondering if there's a way to mod the bios in order to correct this default or any other solutions related to the basic drivers loaded on startup.

Hello,

I need my bios unlocked for my HP Envy. I need to access the AHCI option specifically, but it would be nice to have the whole advanced menu. (If I understand correctly, this option is in that menu).

Here are my specifications:

Board: Hewlett-Packard 228E 77.13
Board Vendor: Insyde

BIOS splash screen change

i have a new HP 246 G1 notebook PC
i got it from tamil nadu govt. the bios splash screen is

i want to change this splash screen and use official HP splash screen.
i used 'universal bios backup toolkit 2.0' to take back up of my present bios and loaded it in 'ezh20_2.1.0.4.exe' insyde bios editor. but the splash screen to be replaced is not showing there when i loaded the bios backup file. i also tried updating my bios to latest version insyde F.04
i tried to enable 'fast boot' but that option is not available in this version of bios
please tell me how to disable splash screen or how to change the splash screen.

please help to change BIOS splash screen

i have a new HP 246 G1 notebook PC

I have Acer V5-561G and the BIOS is not yet available on acer support pages (till this time (17.7.2014 11:54).
