Hello

I hope someone can help me remove wwan and wifi whitelist and enable advanced menu

Found Macronix flash chip "MX25L12805D" (16384 kB, SPI) on ch341a_spi.
Found Macronix flash chip "MX25L12835F/MX25L12845E/MX25L12865E" (16384 kB, SPI) on ch341a_spi.
Multiple flash chip definitions match the detected chip(s): "MX25L12805D", "MX25L12835F/MX25L12845E/MX25L12865E"
Dumped twice both definitions - there is no difference in all 4 dumps.

HP G6 Bios serial number is incorrect, how can I correct it?

I hope this is the right forum to post this.

I've been searching google and cant see to find the correct answer. 
Every result that I find is too old for the G6.

Backstory:

I have an HP Elitebook x360 830 g6. I believe the System board was changed out a year and a half or so ago.
Not 100% sure, but that is what I believe.

The BIOS reports a SN that not only doesnt match the SN that is printed on the bottom of the laptop, but actually matched another laptop that we have. The other Laptop SN is correct (bios and printed on case).

I found something on youtube, but it looks like it works for older laptops:

Hi guys and girls. I'm after a bit of expertise and perhaps some help in modifying/unlocking features in my AMI BIOS for my Beelink SER 6 PRO. It has thunderbolt 3/USB4 support and I'm hoping there is a few advanced options that are unlockable in the BIOS itself. Add NVM Express support to H110M Pro VH Plus

Hi. I have this board, an H110M Pro VH Plus and it is know for not recognizing nvmes not even in the operational system nor in clover nor in the BIOS. The point is that there are another board with a similar name called GIGABYTE H110M M.2
The second board have an M2 slot, and the first don't have, so I am using an PCIE x16 nvme adapter bifurcation that will bifurcate it in two 8x slots. The problem is not with the adapter, since I've tested a gpu in the 8x bifurcation and it IS still working, while the nvme ssd plugged is not recognized.
I've taken a look in the BIOS of both motherboards with MMTool and searched for the string NVM, and found that both bioses have the exact same nvme software drivers (I guess these are software drivers).
My Idea was to take the drivers from one board and inject them in the other using MMTool, I was not expecting them to run magically so I though I would need either to replace another driver that was already in the bios loading process or create a trampoline to run it.
The point is: there is no need to do that I guess because the drivers are already there, they are exactly the same drivers, so I think maybe the production facility have disabled them...
From the short knowledge of very oldschool processors that I have, any device is accessed from memory address ranges so all that these drivers may be doing is to send a message to the bootloader "Hey! I am a nvm Express slot. I am at address xxxxxx-yyyyyy memory range! If you need my help send a signal to my address!"
Am I guessing it wrong?
What are some things that I can try to enable nvme in this board?
Does the processor needs some special flag to support nvme?
Can efi run a complete bios replacement from outside of the spi bios chip?

I am an advanced user and can take this as a long term project even if it is complicated enough to break the legs of a dromedary.

[REQUEST] ASUS Vivobook X509DA

I want to change the TDP of CPU/iGPU and memory clocks for my ASUS X509DA with Ryzen 3700u.
The BIOS version is .309.
I can change the TDP but it dials back to original settings while gaming.
Has anybody done a mod for that laptop?

[REQUEST] X1 carbon 2nd Gen Whitelist

Hi,

could anyone help me remove the Whitelist for this X1 Carbon 2nd Gen BIOS? I've managed to remove it, but on every boot, the laptop gives off 2 x 5 beeps, then boots normal (and recognises my custom cards). So if anyone knows how to perform this modification without getting the beeps, feel free to help or give me pointers! 

This is a very early bios version as I don't currently have a battery to update to a newer one. Attached is a stock version of my ROM chip, that I read out with an SPI reader/writer.

Hello everyone,

I have the Eluktronics Mech 15 G3 Intel 10875H with RTX 3070 that has OEM locked bios. I run hackintosh on this so I want to be able to change undervolt and 
cfglock from the bios directly, any help in modding the bios will be greatly appreciated, will also leave a donation to site  (whether I get help or not)

BIOS boot logo change

Hello, this is my first post here
I love the idea of a forum dedicated to BIOS and I think this is the place to ask for help jejejeje

Well I have a minisforum N34 wich is going to be in a new case converted into a retrogaming console.
I want to change the BIOS boot logo,in fact I have managed to do this but I´m having problems at boot

I used AfuWin64 to read the BIOS, changelogo V5 or BIOS Logo FW1-2-4 2 to change the logo, and finally AfuWin64 to flash the modified BIOS

After the BIOS is successfully flashed I reboot the computer and the new BIOS logo is displayed but the computer goes directly to BIOS and says 

RECOVERY
ROM image is not loaded
ROM image update denied

Then you select discard changes and exit and the system starts normally showing the new BIOS logo, but every time you restart the computer goes directly to BIOS

I think this is because the BIOS has been corrupted in some way at the time I inject the new logo, because if I reflash the BIOS I orinally extracted untouched all is working ok.

So if someone can help me with another program to inject the new splash logo or with a workarround to skip the problem it would be great.

I forgot the specs are:
Minisforum N34
AMI BIOS AB1
INTEL Celeron N3450

Honestly I need help with this because I havent been able to extract the bios, HP's systems are really finicky because I tried fptw64 following some online tutorials and I have 0 experience with this but I really wanted to mod my bios to squeeze as much performance from my system as possible by overclocking  my ram and cpus but since its an industrial board and i went the cheap route im pretty much at a loss here, its a dual socket system and only thing I was able to do was go into the hp website and find a really weird autoflash program for the system and you can extract it but it doesnt really give you bios roms only some weird xml file along with the program that flashes it for you, I think they do this all because the ILO chip literally controls the bios too and theres a flashing option in it but I've seen people do a bios mod for fan control over ssh on reddit but I honestly dont know how they did it and I need help, and apparently they had to sign the mod and do reverse engineering and some crap but man I dont know I just really want to get my computer to work better because im literally broke from buying it lol

edit: just realized that I only need to snatch a bios bin file and upload it through ILO to update the bios so if i modded it and uploaded it through there i guess it would work

Good, currently in this hp 630 3674 i3 340m I have installed a modified bios that I provided in the forum insyde h20 rev rev3.5 version f16 unlocked, the problem is that I have some problems with some functions such as wake on lan that are not working properly so I would like to know if there are some newer version unlocked for this board as I saw a f23 but the link is down and does not currently work. Thanks in advance
