bonjour,

J'aimerais vous demander de l' aide afin de déterminer, si je suis face à une panne ou juste un bios corrompu ?

Au démarrage  le voyant batterie et on/off sont allumés, le ventilateur du ventirad tourne pendant 10 secondes puis s' arrête et le disque dur lui tourne durant 30 secondes et s' arrête a son tour (plus de rotation) et jamais aucun affichage à l' écran.
Il ne reste que les voyants allumées si je ne force pas le PC à s' arrêter.

Update HP ProBook 6475b production model BIOS

Hello.

Can someone please help me update the BIOS on an HP ProBook 6475b I found? The problem is the production model BIOS version is 5.4A, dated 16/02/2012. I can't seem to update the BIOS because of the version mismatch, e.g. instead of F.64 it reads it as 5.4A. Tried using HPQFlash and the pre-boot BIOS update. ROM Family is 68TTU. Would like to update to F.69.

Hello

I am looking for Hp dv5-1002et modified bios for wifi. because my notebooks wifi not working properly. bluetooth is working but wifi not show on device list. i tried lots of wifi.  hp production also not working with it. hp brand intel 512, broadcom bmc9431hmwbl ,intel 2230 , atheros ar5b95 etc...  i have 15 wifi modules and none of them was not working with.

i didnt find any bios on Hp web site. please someone help me

UEFI tool or alternative

Hello I'm trying to modify some hex in my bios to change some features. However the newer UEFI tool versions only extract and I can not replace. So I've read I need an older version. Every version I try either still has replace greyed out or the software doesn't even load. Does anyone have a fully working version of this that works on windows 10? Or an alternative software?

[REQUEST] HP Laptop 15 Insyde BIOS unlock request

Greetings, I'm trying to edit my laptop's SMBIOS data in order to work around a HWID ban.

I got all the appropriate tools, but when changing serial numbers and other data it gave back a message "d8 is read only".

I used an UEFI shell with H20SDE-Sx46.efi tool, I'm unable to use any HP DMI exe tools because I wasn't able to boot from a DOS flash drive.

I need to unlock my BIOS to allow writing a new serial number, UUID etc. and also to unlock the advanced settings menu as well.

further information:
-Model: HP Laptop 15-dw3xxx
-Model Codename: 1A3Y0AV
-OS: x64 Win 10
-CPU:11th Gen i5-1135G7
-BIOS Version: Insyde F.57

[REQUEST] Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 1 (R23UJ62W) Whitelist Removal

Hello,

Looking for some help patching the BIOS for my AMD T16 Gen 1. It has two PCI-e slots, WWAN is whitelisted. Here is some information:

Model: T16 Gen 1 Type 21CH-000JUS
BIOS rev.: R23UJ62W (1.32)
BIOS link: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/r23uj62w.exe
Supported VID: 1EAC (Quectel), unsure of PID
I accept the RSA signed risks.

I am asking here because I have tried and failed to mod the BIOS myself. I have gone as far as decompiling the LenovoWmaPolicyDxe module and patching it to bypass the check, and rebuilt the BIOS image, but could not get it to flash using any method I found on this site. I can't seem to boot DOS and flashing from windows with WinPhlash UEFI fails. I also tried just replacing the images in the official update utility but I believe it checks hashes or something similar because it complains that it is unable to find the files I replaced. I also tried flashing from Linux with flashrom which appears to work until my laptop reboots and fails to flash due to being unable to find the capsule file or something similar.

My other attempt was with a CH431A, reading the chip, modifying the LenovoWmaPolicyDxe and reflashing with the modified image. This seemed to work until I noticed none of the changes I made had appeared. I noticed afterward that my laptopp seems to have two BIOS chips, a SOIC8 package at 128MB and WSON package at 256MB. I had only flash the 128MB chip and I suspect it is the backup chip that will reflash the main one if it fails. Unfortunately the 256MB chip is not supported by any software so I cannot read/write to it.

Hoping to get a modified image along with some details on how it was done if possible.

Hi,

i want to undervolt my i7-10875h with XTU or ThrottleStop.
My BIOS is AMI FB06

I can access to Grub Shell successfully.
when i type "dump.bat", it say "Unsupported hardware platform. HW: Cometlake Platform. Supported HW: Tigerlake Platform".

did you have for me ?
then i can post my bios dump.

Hi i have a Acer Swift SF 114-33(Insyde Corp. V1.05 BIOS) and I want change my  C-state options because my c-states is stay on (C3) I  want to change to (C0) for more performance but my advanced settings consist of Intel VTX ,Intel VTD,Storage Device Configuration. Please help me thanks for understanding
