Hello guys and girls.

Just wanted to say Hi.

Hopefully not joining to be a one post wonder then bugger off. I have a number of 775 motherboards that I'd like to tweak and keep around for as long as possible.

Got a number of Xeons and modded then to fit in 775 boards and it's working so far.

The boards I speak of are D975xbx2 (x2) and should be getting my hands on a DP45sg sooner or later.

My main reason for joining is to learn how to modify the D975xbx2 bios. I like to learn if possible how to increase it's DIMM spd compatibility. I think Intel stopped updating it just when DDR2 speeds were hitting 1066 and beyond.

So is it possible to introduce new DIMM SPD's to a bios like you can inject cpu microcodes to update bioses?

Anyway it's the end of the day for me at work so I'll be back online tomorrow!!

Is it possible to get AHCI option on MB ASROCK G41C-GS?

Hi,

I'm a TI And I need to put a system already installed on a SSD in ACHI in a new machine with the MB G41C-GS of ASROCK. The problem is there are no AHCI option. I have updated the bios to the lastest version (1.40) and nothing new.

I have searched anyware on the web to find a way to get thise option. This board is Brand new and support DDR3, I can't imagine that dosen't support AHCI...

So if someone can help me, that will be REALLY apreciated!!

p.s. sorry for my poor english... ^_^'

Hello

I'm trying to install an Intel 7260.HMWG WiFi Wireless-AC+Bluetooth in place of the stock Intel Wifi Link 1000 BGN.

I'm currently running Win7 Ultimate and Ubuntu Linux dual boot with Linux GRUB as the loader for the dual configuration.

The following link is the BIOS update for the Z570-

It's for BIOS version 45CN38WW, but I have version 45CN47WW (the unit was made A few months after the 45CN38WW update)

I tried using the file for Z570 in your archive: http://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS/index.php?...miloml.exe

The first time i used it, I got "error 97" and the program stopped responding. I tried 3 more times and the just hangs up and stops responding
the progress window says

(check) Load new BIOS
x Analyze Old and New BIOS Compatability ---> it hangs up on this step

I still have the original HDD with only win7 on it, I could switch drives if you think it would make any difference.

Otherwise any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello to all community members and staff.
I would like to request a microcode bios mod for Asus P5KR for support of Xeon E5450 (LGA 771 to 775).
My knowledge in bios things is limited. I just know how to flash my bios..
My bios version is P5KR-0703 and i use windows 8.1 Pro (x64).

Can you unlock my bios im currently in v2.09 i want all advance options and i dont have the muxless graphics so switchable graphics isnt a problem i would really need the vga and temp options but it would really help if you unlock all ill post bios screen shots later

Hey folks!

I am wondering if i cant get some help with modifying my P43 bios.

Ive just bought a E5450 for my MSI P43-C51 but as ive seen in several threads is that its missing SSE4.1 and getting pretty hot .. not whippin properly.

Can someone help me to unlock my BIOS please? I need to have the option for using dedicated graphics card as primary display device. The BIOS seems to be Phoenix Tiano, not Award as i thought previously. I attached comp's rom.

lenovo z585 whitelist removal

im requesting my whitelist for wlan card be removed. my machine is a lenove z585, with a 60cn93ww.cap oem bios.

old wlan card is Ven_168c, Dev_0032, Subsys_321817aa, Rev_01
new card is, Ven_168c, Dev_0034, Subsys_20031a56, Rev_01

I have attempted to mod this for about a year now. im at my wits end, have Andyp's tool, IDA pro, HxD think i have the lock narrowed down to sub_660? tried to nop the infinite loop for the test rax, rax. ok, my head is starting to hurt again...

really just wanting the whitelist removed i have lost one wifi card already, and dont want to have to do this again if i loose another one... why does lenovo have to make things so hard to fix?

please if someone could help me.... and i will gladly donate to your cause. do you accept paypal.... thanks in advance....

Hello guys,

I am not sure if am posting in the right session or forum, but I really need some help. Actually I have a Compal QAL51 barebone with insyde h2o bios. The problem is that I forgot the bios password and can't change the configs. I tried to reflash using this topic http://www.citronix.net/blog/how-to-remo...s-updated/ changing the parameters without success.I also did a crisis recovery but nothing changed. I've contacted the motherboard manufacturer and they charged me $90 plus shipping and I can't afford. I appreciate if any of you can help me and I will reward.
