Hello everyone.
I have been reading through your forum quite extensively about my laptops BIOS which is the HP Softpaq # SP60655.
I can see that it is an RSA signed BIOS that no one has had any luck in modding and not resulting in a brick and recovery of the BIOS.
There is a version of the BIOS that is modifiable being the last non-signed version. How ever, if I flash this onto my laptop my dedicated graphics card it reverts back to a Radeon 6770M. It normally is a Radeon HD 7690M XT which is the 6770M overclocked and renamed(Thanks HP!...
)
Reading in some other areas, the rumor mill also suggests that HP are pretty bad at updating their service manuals and can occasionally add new supported wireless cards into the Whitelist of BIOS images.
So my request, could I please have some one whip open my BIOS image and extract the current white list so I can see what I can make best of the bad situation till we have a way to successfully mod these BIOS's.
You don't need to go to the extent of converting the hardware ID's if you cbf.
Appreciate it!
and thank you for your guys continued efforts.
