Hello,
I'd like to request removal of whitelist from the BIOS for a X200s Lenovo laptop.
-Manufacturer: Lenovo
-Motherboard Model: Thinkpad X200s 74705GF
- BIOS Information
Vendor: LENOVO
Version: 6DET61WW (3.11 )
Release Date: 11/10/2009
Address: 0xE0000
Runtime Size: 128 kB
ROM Size: 8192 kB
BIOS Revision: 3.17
Firmware Revision: 1.6
Current BIOS version updates are available here:
http://support.lenovo.com/ca/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-x200s
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/6duj48us.exe
This system currently only has GNU/Linux installed, any help/indications on how to backup its current BIOS if needed would be appreciated. Windows can be reinstalled temporarily to do this too.
I searched the forum for previous requests and found this, perhaps it can help:
