Hello, i have an dell vostro 320 which i am certain contains a bios with an artificial ram limit.
The ram limit is 4gb, the system boots when i install 8gb in two 4gb sticks, but only recornises them as two 2gb modules.
The chipset is G41 which in theory should recorgnise 8gb ram just fine.
Currently i am running an Xeon E5450 cpu which suprisingly boots and works just fine with no bios mods.
I attach the original bios dumped using Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit 2.0.
I also attach the cpu-z screenshots.
Please remove the ram limit.
