I am trying to add a F5521gw, unknown VendorID, ProductID to a X121e with Intel i3 so only BIOS starting with 8Q.

As it is already updated to 1.19 and I am not sure if it can be downgraded safely, based on information from camiloml on this thread: http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Re...est?page=2 and the modification of sovem on http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Re...7#pid59667, I used Andy's phoenixtool250.zip to remove the whitelist based on the modification of camiloml on 1.18.
I have only changed the file 79E0EDD7-9D1D-4F41-AE1A-F896169E5216_1692.ROM removing the jumps without modifiying SLIC and I have attached the original and the modified files.
I see that there additional differences on:
so I am a little reluctant to flash it in case I brick it.
I do not have the experience and knowledge so could anyone of the local knowledgeable masters (camiloml or sovem![Wink]( "Wink")
) please check that these differences are just text changes or if you would be so kind to try the mod from the start?
Also, does anyone know the filename for bios recovery using wincrisis for these newer Phoenix bios or if wincrisis can even be used for these BIOSes?
If any of the information above or in the attachment shouldn't be public, please edit it accordingly.
