The Pandora Christmas 2013 collection is typically cute. Of all the charms I admit that I found myself drawn to the Pandora Mittens. These are arguably a tad more versatile and would work equally effectively on either a festive or winter bracelet.
Pandora Mittens Charm
The Pandora Charms Mittens Charm boasts a double dangle style design. The mittens are suspended from a delicate chain, allowing them to move independently of one another. They feature a tiny splash of rose pink enamel as a heart detail on the glove. This isn’t excessive and shouldn’t deter those who typically avoid enamel charms.
The showcase bracelet for this charm needed to include pink based hues to complement the heart detailing. I wanted to add a second darker colour, more in acknowledgement of the season. I opted for rich chocolate browns as it’s a palette I haven’t experimented enormously with. To bring a sense of cohesion to the bracelet, I used retired Trollbeads Pink Prisms in addition to a few of the Smokey Quartz beads. I don’t have enough of the latter to fill a bracelet so I included the limited edition Ohm Beads Hot Chocolate.

Of all the Pandora Christmas 2013 charms, the one I’ve personally indulged in is Winter’s Kiss, the beautiful snowflake pendant (review pending.) I’ll admit however that I was sorely tempted by the Pandora Mittens Charm. It’s not overtly festive which offers increased versatility for those of us on a limited budget, or with a smaller existing collection. While it does feature pink enamel, it’s a very small amount and nothing that requires a dedicated colour scheme. This charm would look equally lovely on all silver bracelets or those with any softer colour, such as icy blues for the winter season.
