Hello, I have Acer Spin SP513-51 ultrabook and there is the newest BIOS InsydeH20 1.11. I want to change DVMT Size to 64MB but when I changing in EFI Shell (grub) it throws error: can't set variable using efi (error: 0x0000000000000008) so I think that BIOS is write locked ![Sad]( "Sad")
. Having Advanced menu will be nice too ![Tongue]( "Tongue")
Bios chip is MX25L6473F and I have CH341 programmer so it won't be problem to flash it. I need only to buy pomona clip because i don't want to solder it because I can damage it like my old router![Tongue]( "Tongue")
Now I only want to know it is possible to activate this menu or change DVMT size and if yes it will be nice to get modified bios so when I will get pomona clip I can flash it. Of course for help I can donate ![Smile]( "Smile")
I tried to set DVMT Size via setup_var 0xDF 0x2
