Hello!

I have a Samsung NP RV-410 laptop, it seems to have a faulty video chip. I have no desire to repair it. But I really want to run and use without graphics to run programs on it through a network connection. Is it possible to remove the check for a graphics adapter in his Phoenix BIOS? Or put some kind of "plug" so that the laptop "thinks" that the adapter is installed?

AMI BIOS Flash error

Hi guys, I have a weird problem where I just edited my bios and tried to flash it, but when I flash the BIOS with AFUWINGUI, it displays an error code 0xFFFFFFFF, what does this error mean? And how can I fix it?

I hope someone can help me out with this!

[REQUEST] Asus 1005HA "Always On" / "Wake on AC" feature

Hello
I know this topic has been discussed here and there already, but I could not find any reply to it.
I am trying to have an Asus EeePC 1005HA run as a server. It is plugged to an intermittent switch, which cuts down power at night. I want the computer to automatically restart whenever the power comes back (I removed the computer battery).
Is there any way to implement “Always On” / “Wake on AC” feature support for this netbook’s BIOS? You will find attached the ROM.
I checked with AMI BCP, there are no hidden features for this BIOS, so I guess it would require deeper modding.
I am pretty sure that such mod is possible from a hardware perspective, as the computer used to automatically turn on on plugging, when the CMOS battery was dead (asking for user to setup the BIOS settings). Since I replaced it with a new battery, the computer stays off.

Clevo N970TC bios update: how to ?

Hi everyone,
I've got the N970TC model powered by Core i5-9400 and GTX1660Ti.
I'd like to update the bios to the new version 1.07.06 (now it's 1.07.05):
http://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/N9xx...B10706.zip (login/psw: repo/repo)
There are four .bat files (EOLWIN64, EOLTESTWIN64, FlashMEWinX64 and MEINFOWIN64) and some exe files inside.
I don't know the best way to proceed, could you help me please ?
I think first Wmeset (should reset ME and reboot OS ready for the following BIOS flashing) and then FlashMEWinX64.bat (within Windows 10) but I'm not sure, is that correct or not ?
Does anyone know the right steps to be taken ?

Lenovo B490 Whitelist Removal - HELP

can anybody help me? I bought a replacement battery for my lenovo b490 and at startup it is said that only original batteries are supported (a white list problem). I have never updated my BIOS or modded before, where can I find the modified bios and a guide for installing a BIOS mod and getting rid of the whitelist?

Laptop: Lenovo B490
CPU: Intel Celeron CPU 1000M
UEFI Bios Version: H1ET75WW (1.18)
UEFI BIOS Date: 06-27-2013
TYPE: Phoenix BIOS / ACPI 2.0
